A stacked solar cell device comprising a plurality of solar cell units (4), an enclosure case made of a metal plate and containing the solar cell units (4), and a cover glass on which a partial tubular lens portion is formed. The solar cell units (4) are contained in a plurality of recesses of the enclosure case and sealed with synthetic resin sealing material. In the solar cell unit (4), a planar light receiving solar cell module (10) and rod light receiving solar cell modules (30, 50) are stacked such that a module having a shorter central wavelength of sensitivity wavelength band is located closer to the incident side of sunlight. In the solar cell module (10), five planar light receiving sunlight cells (11) are connected in parallel by four connection rods (20a, 20b), the sunlight modules (30, 50) include five sub-modules (31, 51) connected in parallel by connection rods (40a, 40b, 60a, 60b), respectively, and the sub-modules (31, 51) include a plurality of rod light receiving solar cell modules (32, 52) connected in series, respectively. |
