<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic breaker, which does not need a long through bolt, and can be manufactured without using a large machine tool, and a method for manufacturing that. <P>SOLUTION: The hydraulic breaker 1 is provided with a cylinder 3 with a piston 10 slidably engaged to be movable forward and backward, and a front head 2 installed on the axial direction tip side of the cylinder 3 to which a chisel 8 is inserted to be movable forward and backward.
