PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing process of a polytetrafluoroethylene sheet (PTFE) and a manufacturing process of a seal tape made of PTFE which exhibit a better productivity than the conventional processes and reduce the manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: The manufacturing processes comprise (i) a step to form a PTFE-containing solid material including a surfactant and water by imposing force on a PTFE particle dispersion containing PTFE particles, a surfactant and water being a dispersion medium to bring the particles into the vicinity of or contact with each other, (ii) a step to deform the solid into a sheet and (iii) a step to reduce the amount of the water contained in the solid deformed into the sheet.
