TREATMENT METHOD OF VOC GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method of a VOC gas constituted so as to perform stable and economical operation while supplying a necessary minimum amount of nutriments by minimizing the amount of the nutriments flowing out accompanying drainage.

SOLUTION: In the treatment method of the VOC gas for collecting the exhaust gas (a) containing water soluble VOC and guiding the collected gas to a biological treatment tank 1 filled with carrier having microorganisms adhered thereto to biologically decompose the same, water containing nutriments is periodically sprinkled over microorganisms while the excessively propagated microorganisms are peeled from a carrier to be allowed to fall to the water tank 13 provided to the bottom part of the biological treatment tank 1 and the storage water (c) in the water tank 13 is guided to a filter 4 to be subjected to solid-liquid separation, the separated solid substance (d) is discharged out of the water tank 13 while the whole or a part of filtered water (e) is returned to the biological treatment tank 1.
