摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein the length of a low pass filter (LPF) is necessary to be twice the value of a guard interval (GI) length, and the noise component increases in transmission path characteristic estimation which uses all the carriers for the prevention of processing delays of 4 symbols. <P>SOLUTION: In OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) receiving, the device is provided with a first transmission path characteristic estimation means by interpolation of a pilot carrier signal of a FFT (fast-Fourier transform) signal, a second transmission path characteristic estimation means which estimates the transmission path characteristics from among all the carrier signals of the FFT signal using the signal of the first transmission path characteristic estimation means, and the LPF whose guard interval length is in a pass band. The device detects the position of main wave from the signal of the first transmission path characteristic estimation means, corrects the position of the main wave so as to position in a predetermined position of the pass band of the LPF, and equalizes the FFT signal by using the filter transmission path characteristic estimation signal which passes through the LPF. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
