<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle detector capable of suppressing erroneous detection of an obstacle. <P>SOLUTION: The obstacle detector for a vehicle with a radar device for receiving a reflected wave of a radio wave transmitted to a prescribed transmission range and detecting an object in the transmission range when a reception intensity of the reflected wave is a prescribed threshold or more, and an operating device control means for controlling an operating device of a vehicle based on obstacle detection information from the radar device, includes a driving-state detecting means for detecting a driver's driving operation state, and a detection capability changing means for changing an obstruction detection capability of the radar device based on the driver's driving operation state detected by the driving-state detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
