<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for treating waste water, by which waste water can be effectively treated even when high-concentration waste water flows in irregularly. <P>SOLUTION: The method for treating waste water comprises the steps of: supplying waste water to a first biological treatment tank 4 in which a swingable or movable microorganism carrier 5, on which a microorganism for treating waste water is deposited, is arranged dispersedly to subject the supplied waste water to primary treatment in a state preventing the clogging; and supplying the primarily-treated waste water to a second biological treatment tank 8 in which a swingable microorganism carrier 9 swingably supporting a microbe-deposited fibrous body carrying the microorganism is arrayed in higher density than that of the microorganism carrier in the first biological treatment tank 4 to subject the primarily-treated waste water to secondary treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
