PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device having a frame-like support arranged surrounding an effective display region in which sealing shifting and leakage failure caused by deformation of the support are prevented to obtain a high quality display and high reliability. SOLUTION: A positioning top 12A is installed adjacent to the corner parts of the support 3, thereby, deformation of the support 3 upon sealing is prevented and the occurrence of sealing shifting between the rear board 1 and the front board 2 is suppressed.
