PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass substrate for field emission display hardly damaged by thermal stress during a heat treatment process, with a support frame integrally molded. SOLUTION: The glass substrate for field emission display includes a display part 11 and a periphery part surrounding the display part. The periphery part has a strip-shaped convex part 12 formed nearly in parallel with an end edge of the substrate, and a groove 14 extended in a length direction of the convex part 12 is formed on a rear face of the convex part 12.
