PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a uniaxial optical magnetic resonance magnetometer, wherein the existence of a target is identified, based on the magnetostriction amount occurring in passing through the target sky, there is a dead zone that does not operate in the direction of the terrestrial magnetism, a DC motor for controlling the attitude to detect the azimuth of the magnetometer is used, in order that the attitude of the magnetometer be controlled to obtain the direction for always avoiding the dead area using a servomechanism, or the like employing the DC motor, but the magnetic field around the magnetometer is distorted by the varying magnetic field, generated by the motor to generate the oscillation magnetic noise during magnetometer oscillation, and the detection performance is reduced. SOLUTION: In a non-magnetic servomechanism 15, using a non-magnetic ultrasonic motor that utilizes an electrostriction phenomenon where a piezoelectric element, expands and contracts by itself, when the voltage is applied to the piezoelectric element (piezoelectric ceramic elastic element) controls the attitude of the uniaxial optical magnetic resonance magnetometer so that direction that always avoid the dead zone, without causing distortion of the surrounding magnetic field.
