PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method which enables the bonded state of a waterproof substrate and a waterproof sheet laid on the waterproof substrate to be thoroughly checked on a waterproof floor surface, subjected to a loose laying method, in a simple step. SOLUTION: An opening is provided in the waterproof sheet 1 which is laid on the waterproof substrate; gas is supplied into a section between the waterproof sheet 1 and the waterproof substrate from the opening; the waterproof sheet 1, which is not bonded to the waterproof substrate, is set afloat; and the visual observation of a boundary between the waterproof sheet 1 and a bonded portion makes it determined whether the bonded state is good or bad.
