PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the electrically heating and drawing device of a tubular base stock, which is provided with both of heating function and drawing function for the tubular base stock, in which the scale of equipment is small, whose cost is low, and in which heat loss little. SOLUTION: The electric heating and drawing device 10 is provided with a pair of clamping means 14, 17a, 18, 19; 14, 17d, 18, 19 for clamping both end parts of the tubular base stock 2 respectively and tensile load imparting means 12 by which tensile load in the axial direction can be imparted to the tubular base stock 2 via these clamping means, wherein portions of each clamping means, which are brought into contact with the tubular base stock 2 are constituted of electrodes 19 and a power source device 23 is connected between the electrodes of both the clamping means. Electric heating of the tubular base stock and impartation of the tensile load to the tubular base stock are performed with this one device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
