PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electric equipment such as an electric kettle whose handling is facilitated by regulating a position for holding an equipment main body by a user when discharging liquid. SOLUTION: The electric equipment has a holding part 16 provided on the bottom surface of the equipment main body 1 for holding the equipment main body 1 when discharging liquid in a liquid storage container 4. Thus, the position for holding the equipment main body 1 by the user when discharging the liquid is regulated, the equipment main body 1 is brought down with the holding part 16 being held, and the liquid is discharged from a liquid discharge part 11.
