[PROBLEMS] To provide a method for easily manufacturing a lithium rechargeable battery with a solid electrolyte layer having a space which can receive precipitated lithium. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A method for manufacturing a lithium rechargeable battery comprising a positive electrode (12), a negative electrode (14), and a solid electrolyte layer (13) interposed between the positive electrode (12) and the negative electrode (14). The method comprises at least a first step of stacking a first group of particles (13a) and a second group of particles (13b) having a larger average particle diameter than the average particle diameter of the first group of particles to form the solid electrolyte layer, and a second step of stacking the positive electrode and the negative electrode on the solid electrolyte layer so that the negative electrode abuts against the solid electrolyte layer on its face containing the second group of particles. |
