<p>The invention relates to a method for recycling all types of waste plasti cs, in particular mixed plastics. According to said method, a compacted mass , in particular an agglomerate of flakes or other plastic pieces is ground i n at least one refiner stage in the presence of water, fine fractions are re moved together with water from the ground product that exits the refiner sta ge, the remaining ground product is washed and/or mechanically de-watered an d dried or the de-watered ground product is ground again in the presence of water in a further refiner stage and is subsequently de-watered and dried. T he milling of the compacted mass takes place in at least one refiner stage w ith the aid of a disc refiner (toothed disc refiner), the discs of which hav e meshing teeth, arranged at a distance from one another in concentric circl es. A gap exists between the neighbouring teeth of a circle and each gap in said circle is large enough to allow the free passage of the particles that are to be or have already been ground.</p> |
