<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent blocking of the thrust rod 4 of a booster in the maximum stroke position. <P>SOLUTION: The blocking occurs after a first plate skirt 12 adheres to the seal 22 of the tandem booster in the sealed state. The seal encloses a vacuum in a first front chamber 5. To prevent this blocking, the first lip 23 of the seal pressed against a pneumatic piston 3 is formed in a castle wall with a gap. By the projecting wall portion, the plate skirt 12 is prevented from adhering to the entire part of the seal 22 in the sealed state. Since the plate skirt does not adhere to the seal, air leaks into the first front chamber 5, the plate skirt can be returned to the rest position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
