<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coolness-feeling animal fiber fabric excellent in soft touch and lightweightness feeling and capable of expressing deep color of its own, and to provide formal clothing using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The coolness-feeling animal fiber fabric is dyed with a reactive dye, and has an L*value of 20 or less and a near-infrared average reflectance of 60% or greater at a wavelength of 800-1,200 nm.
