<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suspend erasing, write, or read operation (first operation) without increasing the number of commands dealt by an external circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor device and its control method which are provided with a memory cell array having a plurality of non-volatile memory cells, and a control circuit in which when a first command is input (S10), first operation of memory cells of a part of a region of the memory cell array is started (S12), after that when a second command is input, it is determined that the first operation is suspended (S16) or the first operation is reset (S14), when it is determined that the first operation is suspended, the first operation is suspended (S18), and when it is determined to reset, the first operation is finished (S38). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
