PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device and a heating method for a stator coil and a stator core which can prevent the temperature rise caused by partially heating the core and also can heat the stator coil and the core uniformly by a high frequency induction heating system even if the current is not applied to the stator coil. SOLUTION: The device has a coil head 33 for high frequency induction heating inserted into the hollow part Ma of a stator M where a stator coil L is wound inside an annular core F, and heats the above stator core and the core by high frequency induction. This device is equipped with a tubular shield 36 which prevents magnetic flux generated from a coil head 33 from reaching the periphery Fa of the above core F, being arranged on both sides in the thickness direction of the above core F coaxially with the above core F.
