PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent screws from being viewed from the outside, and to simultaneously eliminate a gap between a side face panel and an electronic equipment body. SOLUTION: A case 4 for a CD player 2 comprises a base board 10, a front face panel 11, and side face panels 12. Pin insertion recesses 12d are formed on a left side portion 12a and a right side portion 12b of the side face panels 12. Slide boards 16 are slidably attached to support boards 14 that are attached to the base board 10. Head portions 17a and insertion portions 17b of mounting pins 17 are inserted into the pin insertion recesses 12d, and the mounting pins 17 are engaged with the side face panels 12. Engagement portions 17e of the mounting pins 17 are engaged with the slide boards 16. If screws 20 that are screwed into screw holes 16e are rotated in an A direction, then the slide boards 16 slide in a rear direction to cause the mounting pins 17 to move in an inside direction.
