PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the height of a pump from an installing floor, while reducing vibration or noise of a reduction gear and preventing deterioration in pump efficiency. SOLUTION: A hung tube 9 is straight tubular, and is fixed to the installing floor 4. An upper end side of the hung tube 9 is connected with a discharge elbow 10, and a lower end side thereof is connected with an upper end side of a pumping pipe 6. The casing 17 of the reduction gear 16 has: a first part 18 incorporated in the hung tube 9; a second part 19 penetrating a tubular wall of the hung pipe 9 and having one end connected with a first part 18 and the other end disposed outside the hung tube 9; and a third part 20 connected with the other end of the second part 19.
