LOW-DENSITY PRINTING PAPER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-density printing paper having excellent opacity, surface smoothness, surface strength, internal binding strength, and flexibility. SOLUTION: The low-density printing paper includes silicon-containing particles formed from a silicon dioxide and/or a silicic acid salt, and porous filler containing alkali-resistant fine particles in an amount of 0.1-40 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the silicon-containing particles and having an average particle diameter of≤40μm in an amount of 1-20 mass% as the content in the paper, and the printing paper has a density of≤0.80 g/cm3.
