PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide noncarrier tack paper which maintains appropriate tackiness without causing the cohesive failure of a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer or the separation of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer into two release sheets in peeling the release sheets. SOLUTION: In the noncarrier tack paper having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer between release sheets, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprises a terpene based tackifier and a polyethylene resin, and preferably the polyethylene resin comprises a metal salt of an ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer.
