According to an embodiment, an apparatus includes a table, a router a module and a driver. The table includes IP addresses and corresponding ports. At least one of the ports specifies a logical link. The router module receives IP packets and uses the table to associate the IP packets with the ports. The driver determines when assets for the logical link have become available, and then forwards associated IP packets to the available assets.
