<p>In one embodiment, a method comprises selecting a node included in a data structure representing, in a node-and-link representation, a first portion of electronic content and including an external link being associated with the node and referencing a serialization representing a second portion of electronic content in a representation differing from the node-and-link representation of the data structure. The method further comprises augmenting the data structure using the serialization, comprising constructing a set of new nodes including all nodes constructible from the serialization, selecting a target node from among the set of new nodes, inserting the target node into the data structure, and inserting an inter-node link into the data structure to connect the node and the target node, the inter-node link corresponding to the external link.</p> |
