PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure security in radio communication while suppressing the burden of an operator. SOLUTION: This radio communication terminal requesting authentication transmits authentication request information 212 several times while changing the strength of a communication radio wave. Each time this repeater (access point) receives the authentication request information 212, a measuring part 500 measures the strength of the communication radio wave to generate measurement information 511. A determination part 501 compares the strength of the communication radio wave with threshold information 512, determines strength larger than the threshold information 512 as "1" and strength smaller than the threshold information 512 as "0" to generate determination information 513. An authentication part 503 compares the determination information 513 with authentication information 514 to thereby authenticate the radio communication terminal requesting authentication.
