PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert disk cartridges of different sizes with configuration simpler than before. SOLUTION: When the first disk cartridge is inserted into a cartridge holder 68, a detection member 144 is pressed by the first disk cartridge, and a base plate 141 is rotated in a direction apart from the first disk cartridge and a shutter opening arm is retracted from the inside of the cartridge holder 68 and a cam projection is retracted from the cam groove of the cam gear 142 to stop the operation of the shutter opening arm. When a second disk cartridge is inserted into the cartridge holder 68, an engagement section 148 of the shutter opening arm is engaged with the operated section of the second disk cartridge and the shutter opening arm rotates in accordance with the rotation of the cam gear 142 of the cam projection engaged with the cam groove and keeps the shutter member with the first aperture and the second aperture opened.
