<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil for cylinder type internal combustion engine, which is attached to the inside of a plug hole of an engine to supply a high voltage to the ignition plug and accordingly high in reliability while having utility that the same is mounted on many kinds of various engines or the like and which is capable of obtaining an output of the best ignition performance. <P>SOLUTION: The ignition coil for internal combustion engine is constituted of a coil unit, comprising a central core made of electromagnetic steel sheets, a primary coil connected to the central core through electromagnetic coupling and arranged at the outer peripheral side of the center core, a secondary coil and an external peripheral core arranged at the outer peripheral side of both of the primary and secondary coils while being made of the electromagnetic steel sheets. In this case, the coil unit is received in a case having electric insulating property and is sealed by an insulating material. In such an ignition coil for internal combustion engine, the winding layers of the primary coil are constituted of odd number layers and a primary side electric conduction passage is arranged at the outer peripheral side of the primary coil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
