<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a fan motor for air-conditioners, refrigerators, and the like, a compressor drive motor, and a pump motor with a comparatively simple circuit and low noise. <P>SOLUTION: In this drive circuit, a first conduction phase is put into a full conduction state in the phase change of a motor, a second conduction phase changed over is controlled by a first pulse width modulation signal, and the first conduction phase is controlled by a second pulse width modulation signal in an overlap period.
