<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when only text data are stored in a storage area of a printer as printing data, it is necessary to transmit cover data from a host PC or the like to the printer in each binding, print out the required number of covers and set the printed results in an inserter as covers, and therefore, the operation is inconvenient as a flow of achieving binding by using a document storing function. <P>SOLUTION: In the printing system including a storage means for storing binding printing data constituted of a cover and a text in a storage device of a printer together with an identifier and a binding printing means for reading out the binding printing data from the storage means by the identifier and performing binding printing; the cover and the text are divided from the binding printing data, different identifiers are respectively allocated to the cover and the text and stored in the storage means, and in the case of reading out text data from the storage means by the identifier allocated to the text, the cover also is read out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
