<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation input device whose operability is enhanced so that even users unfamiliar with its functions or users inexperienced about its operation can easily set the functions. <P>SOLUTION: The content of settings operated is recorded as a history of operation. A filtering means is provided for calculating frequencies of operation from the history of operation and displaying only setting keys with high frequencies of operation while not displaying setting keys with low frequencies of operation.
