NAVIGATION SYSTEM, ROUTE SEARCH SERVER, AND PORTABLE TERMINAL APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set a walking speed of a user of a navigation system by accumulating walking history in each user and finding an average walking speed from the walking history. SOLUTION: The navigation system 10 is composed of a portable terminal apparatus 20 and a route search server 30. The route search server 30 includes: a database 37 for accumulating network data for route search; a route search means 33; a walking history collection means 34 for collecting the walking history of the user using the portable terminal apparatus 20; and a walking speed calculation means 35 for calculating the average walking speed of the user based on the walking history collected by the walking history collection means 34. The portable terminal apparatus 20 includes an input means for specifying the average walking speed calculated by the walking speed calculation means 35 as a route search condition.
