PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid housing body which can reduce a pressure loss at the time of ink filling by using a bypass flow passage and increase the productivity by increasing the filling speed, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: An ink pack is equipped with a liquid housing bag 9 consisting of a flexible film, and an ink feeding port member 11 which is inserted in the liquid housing bag 9 and feeds ink being housed in the liquid housing bag 9 to the outside. The ink feeding port member 11 is equipped with a liquid flow passage, a check valve, the bypass flow passage 23, and a filling flow passage forming means 39. In this case, the liquid flow passage communicates with the outside and the inside of the liquid housing bag 9. The check valve is installed in the liquid flow passage, and allows the flow of the ink only from the inside to the outside. The bypass flow passage 23 is formed on the liquid flow passage, and communicates with the outside and the inside 9b by going around the check valve. The filling flow passage forming means 39 forms a flow passage space between the liquid housing bag 9 which covers the liquid housing bag side outlet peripheral edge 33 of the bypass flow passage 23, and the counter surface of a guiding-out member 11, and communicates with and the liquid housing bag side outlet 21 the inside 9b.
