PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anomaly detection device that makes it possible to suppress increase in cost and shorten a time until an anomaly detection signal is outputted. SOLUTION: A step-down DC-DC converter device 1 includes a DC-DC converter circuit 2 and the anomaly detection device 3. The anomaly detection device 3 is constructed of an input voltage monitor circuit 30 and a microcomputer 31. The input voltage monitor circuit 30 converts the input voltage of the DC-DC converter circuit 2 into a frequency and outputs it as a pulse signal. The microcomputer 31 includes a first circuit portion 310 and a second circuit portion 311. When the frequency of an inputted pulse signal is less than a predetermined frequency, the first circuit portion 310 outputs a different pulse signal. When a pulse signal is inputted, the second circuit portion 311 stops the different pulse signal continuously outputted. The combination of the first circuit portion 310 and the second circuit portion 311 makes it possible to suppress increase in cost and shorten a time until an anomaly detection signal is outputted.
