PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy and flexible voice recognition system which is utilized by a user without feeling stress, and in which accuracy of voice recognition is enhanced. SOLUTION: The voice recognition system comprises: a voice input means for inputting voice information; and a medium in which a dot pattern which means a category code is printed by convoluting with letters, a figure or an icon which means a category. The dot pattern which means the category is read on the medium by an optical reading means for reading the dot pattern, and thereby, the accuracy of the vice recognition which is input later, is enhanced.
