PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled two-side weeding machine that simplifies/streamlines a power transmission system for a main cutter and a side cutter, and improves the start operability of an engine. SOLUTION: In the self-propelled two-side weeding machine 1 equipped with a traveling base body portion 10 in which a front wheel 11, a rear wheel 12, a handle 13, the main cutter 28 and the driving engine 20 are arranged so as to dispose an output shaft 21 of the engine in the right and left directions; and a side cutter portion 40 that is inclinably in the vertical direction connected to the left side of the traveling base body portion through a hinge 15 and is equipped with the side cutter 38 and a power transmission mechanism 26 for transmitting the power from the engine to the side cutter; wherein the power of the engine is taken out from between the rotary axis Ca of the main cutter in the traveling base body portion and the rotary axis Cb of the side cutter, divided to right and left and transmitted to the main cutter and the side cutter.
