PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition reducing the Paine effect of a silica-blended rubber composition, suppressing the reduction of vulcanization rate, and also improving the removal of formed ethanol. SOLUTION: This rubber composition is provided by mixing 20 to 100 pts.wt. silica with 100 pts.wt. diene-based rubber containing 5 to 40 pts.wt. polybutadiene rubber (BR), also 2 to 15 wt.% silane coupling agent based on the weight of the silica and 2 to 15 wt.% sodium hydrogen carbonate based on the weight of the silica, and holding for≥1 min at≥140°C during the mixing.
