<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which an approach space to a sheet material discharged between an apparatus main body part and an image reading part is enlarged by moving the image reading part without lifting it up. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided in which, when the sheet material P formed with an image is discharged into a discharge tray 42, a user pulls the image reading part 50 in the direction of an arrow A, to allow a skid 52 to run along a circular arc guide groove 54A, so that the image reading part 50 is moved along a circular arc and the approach space for taking out the sheet material P discharged into the discharge tray 42 is enlarged. In other words, the approach space for taking out the sheet material P is enlarged without lifting up the image reading part 50, so that the sheet material P discharged between the apparatus main body part 12 and the image reading part 50 can be easily taken out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
