<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a USB memory device and a USB memory device control method effective to prevent data breakage. <P>SOLUTION: A USB memory device 8 has a USB connector 22 detachably connected with a USB port of an external device such as a PC, a main control chip 23 with a built-in CPU 31 as a control means, and the like.
