PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout of a motorcycle capable of ensuring the straddling property when a rider gets on/gets off while the length of a fuel pipe is reduced. SOLUTION: A fuel tank 26 is mounted on a front portion of a mono-backbone frame 12 immediately behind a head pipe 11, an air cleaner 27 is arranged forwardly above an engine 31 below the fuel tank 26, and an air intake system 28 (a connecting tube 28a, a throttle body 28b, and an intake manifold 28c in Fig. 3) extends downwardly below the air cleaner 27. An engine with a cylinder 29 extending forwardly in a substantially horizontal manner is suspended below the mono-backbone frame 12, and the air intake system 28 is connected to the cylinder 29. The fuel tank is arranged on the mono-backbone frame in a vicinity of the horizontal cylinder.
