PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice communication device which can output sound at a comfortable sound for a listener by being compensated in the level capable of discriminating a speaker. SOLUTION: When a voice signal compensation section 19 receives a pickup voice compensation control signal from a main control section 10, a formant of the pickup voice signal is detected in a formant detecting section 191. A CPU 190 for compensation control compares the detected formant with the formant which corresponds to each voice feature amount group which is read from an EQ table 194. The CPU 190 for compensation control reads an EQ compensation factor of a group G, which corresponds to the formant with the highest similarity, and gives it to an EQ processor for sound collecting 192. The EQ processor 192 for sound collecting performs equalizing processing on the pickup voice signal according to the given EQ compensation factor, and outputs it to a communication control section 11.
