PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform preview display of the influential range and the relation of strength and weakness of color profile adjustment by a user's instruction. SOLUTION: An influential level is estimated about a range where an adjustment influence about adjustment object pixels is anticipated, and a weighting coefficient is given to a table 1101a1. A profile B101 for a mask is generated on the basis of a lookup table 1101a in an output device profile 1101 and the weighting coefficient.
