PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic paper system which is capable of writing without installing a power source and is excellent in portability. SOLUTION: The electronic paper system comprises: an electronic paper writing device 2 which transmits an electromagnetic wave including prescribed image information; and an electronic paper display device 1 which receives the transmitted electromagnetic wave and displays an image corresponding to the image information on a nonvolatile display part 14. The electronic paper display device 1 is constituted operably by storing an electric power gained from the received electromagnetic wave in a battery part. The electronic paper display device 1 is constituted so as to gain the electric power from the electromagnetic wave, supply the power consumption with the electric power and, thereby, display the image on the nonvolatile display part 14 by using the electric power and, therefore, unnecessitates a power device.
