LUMINANCE ADJUSTMENT DEVICE AND LUMINANCE ADJUSTMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminance adjustment device and a luminance adjustment method capable of adjusting luminance of respective display devices to a target value even when there is a fluctuation in a warming time and external air temperature. SOLUTION: The luminance adjustment device comprises: a warming time determination means which calculates a temperature difference between an external temperature detected by an external temperature detection means and an internal temperature detected by an internal temperature detection means and reads and determines a warming time corresponding to the calculated temperature difference from a product internal temperature table stored in a product internal temperature table storage means as an estimated warming time; a target luminance value determination means which reads and determines a target luminance value corresponding to the estimated warming time read and determined by a warming time estimation means from a target luminance value table stored in a target luminance value table storage means; and a luminance value setting means which allows a luminance value of the display device to accord with the target luminance value read and determined by a target luminance value calculation means and sets the luminance value of the display device.
