PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust roller bearing preventing such a defect that a roller is dropped out of a pocket. SOLUTION: A retainer 11 is provided with an outer diameter side circular wall 12, a bore-side circular wall 13, a plurality of pillar sections 15, pockets 20, pulling-out preventive projecting sections 17 and 19. The rollers 10 are rotatably retained in respective pockets 20 while the rollers 10 are respectively locked in the pockets by the pulling-out preventive projecting sections 17 and 19. Dropping-out preventive pieces 12a and 13a projecting to approach end faces 10a and 10b of the roller 10 are formed on the pointed heads of the outer diameter side circular wall 12 and bore-side circular wall 13.
