PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure displacement limiting stopper device, coping with upward lift in case of an earthquake. SOLUTION: This structure displacement limiting stopper device is provided between a lower structure 6 having a support and an upper structure 7 above it. A locking upward projection 2 is provided on a first stopper member 1 fixed to the lower structure 6, a locking recessed part opened downward 4 is provided on a second stopper member 3 fixed to the upper structure 7. The upward projection 2 is disposed in the recessed part 4 opened downward, and a member is joined to the upper part of the locking upward projection 2 in the first stopper member 1 by screw joint to provide an outward flange 27 overhanging laterally. The lower end part of the second stopper member 3 is provided with an inward flange 27 overhanging to the inside of the locking recessed part 4 opened downward at a level lower than the outward flange 28, and the width between the inward flange inner wall surfaces is set larger than the width in the direction right-angled to the bridge shaft of the outward flange.
