摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior material being high in use safety and having excellent deodorizing, antibacterial, and humidity-conditioning properties. SOLUTION: A compounded coating material is prepared by compounding 45-60 wt.% aragonite-based natural fossil coral powder pulverized to a grain size of 30μm or less and at least containing 35 wt.% or more calcium, 0.3 wt.% or more magnesium, and a minute amount of a transition metal oxide with 25-35 wt.% artificial zeolite powder having a specific surface area of 120 m<SP>2</SP>/g, 12-20 wt.% vehicle consisting of a water-soluble acrylic ester or its copolymer, and 2-5 wt.% nonionic or amphoteric surfactant. To the compounded coating material, water in an amount of 20-30 wt.% of the coating material is added, mixed, and kneaded in a high viscosity state, and then water in an amount of 10-20 wt.% of the total amount of the resultant coating material is added, mixed, and kneaded in a lowly viscous state, to thereby prepare the objective interior material in a state of coating material.
