CEILING FAN

A ceiling fan includes a motor for rotating blades. The motor comprises a hollow shaft installed upright at the center of a disk-like stator and a rotor surrounding the outer circumference of the stator and rotating integrally with the blades. The motor further includes a cylindrical bearing storage part and a pair of upper and lower rolling bearings stored in the bearing storage part. The bearing storage part has a pedestal part at its middle position. The upper rolling bearing is provided on the upper part of the pedestal part through an elastic body, and the lower bearing is provided on the lower part thereof. These both bearings are secured to the hollow shaft.
