<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable sensor recognition device in an on-vehicle control unit capable of securely detecting and determining presence/absence and normality/abnormality of each sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The sensor recognition device is provided with: a sensor power source operation means for performing ON/OFF control of a power source of the sensor; a sensor presence/absence detection means for detecting presence/absence of the sensor, based on a feedback signal obtained by turning on/off the power source of the sensor; a sensor abnormality detection means for detecting normality/abnormality of the sensor, based on a sensor output check signal; and a sensor storage part for storing and retaining detection values of the presence/absence and normality/abnormality of the sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
