PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge device which can carry out an exchange of the kinds of functional liquids supplied to a droplet discharge head more simply and more efficiently compared to the conventional arts, and at the same time, can suppress a fluid volume of the functional liquid or a cleaning liquid consumed in exchanging, as little as possible, and a functional liquid supply method supplying the functional liquid to the droplet discharge head of the droplet discharge device. SOLUTION: In the droplet discharge device 1 provided with the droplet discharge head 10 discharging the droplets of the functional liquid to a workpiece, a functional liquid feed mechanism 80 supplying the functional liquid to the droplet discharge head 10 is provided. The functional liquid feed mechanism 80 is provided with a plurality of plumbings 90 different for every kind of the functional liquid supplied to the droplet discharge head 10, and at the same time, provided with a selector 83 selecting the plumbing 90 supplying the functional liquid to the droplet discharge head 10 among a plurality of plumbings 90 to switch.
